Welcome to London Indian Film Festival 2026

9 – 16 July | BFI Southbank, ICA, Genesis Cinema and more

The London Indian Film Festival returns for its 17th year, bringing the very best of South Asian cinema to venues across the capital. The UK and Europe's largest South Asian film festival, LIFF 2026 spans eight days and features a rich programme of new premieres, Q&As, short films, and restored classics - cherry-picked from the finest film festivals around the world.

This year's highlights include a special screening of Lagaan with an introduction by Aamir Khan at the BFI IMAX, an evening with Aamir Khan in conversation at BFI Southbank, the British Asian Shorts programme, and a Goodness Gracious Me Reunion - alongside premieres, panel discussions, and short film competitions spanning venues from Southbank to Regent Street Cinema, Genesis Cinema, Cine Lumiere, and the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
